We got up at 8.30 a.m. and went to Peking Road’s Mc Cafè, to have some breakfast. Then, we went to the iSquare in Peking Road in order to do some shopping. After that, we went back home to rest a couple of hours. At 6.30 p.m. we went out to meet L. in Middle Road (Mariner Club): we planned to dine all together. However we did not dine at the Club, but dined in Ashley Road, opposite the Ned Kelly’s, at the Hing Fat Restaurant, we liked so much.
Then, we had a walk all together toward her home in Waterloo Road. We had even to cross Nathan Road and right there we saw a small ivory shop. We realized that if you want to buy some genuine ivory jewellery, go to this small place runned by a couple of elderly, called Wing Sang Ivory, in Nathan Road 479-481. You have to know that ivory trading is forbidden in both China and Us. Anyhow, it is said that Hong Kong Government is resisting a ban of this kind of business, going out of application these days. But, actually, the prohibition is not for the whole type of trading. The truth is that the shops cannot sell only the new ivory, therefore the old one is not included in this set.
Afterwards, we came back home having an icecream at the Nathan Road’s Mc Donald. Back home at 11 p.m..
