We got up at 8.30 a.m., got a breakfast at the Pacific Coffee as usual, and recharged our Octopus Card. Then, walked toward the Space Museum, very close to the Victoria Harbour, but found it closed for renovation.
Anyway, took a picture with “the green martian guy“, in the garden beside the place. Very funny. Then, went to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in order to have information about cantonese traditional Opera. After that, had a walk over Canton Road and moved to the usual Dim Sum’s place on the Humphrey’s.
Therefore, we went back to the Mansions, just for a rest and got out again to go to the Temple Street Market. Caught the MTR, got off in Yau Ma Tei, walked for few metres and entered the place, which is crowded of people and stuff sinking into the glittering atmosphere.
In this area prices are good and you can bargain, usually dealing with the shop owners to pay less, to have a discounted price.
We bought something traditional and something else as gifts; t-shirts with the Hong Kong’s logo and some traditional dollies. At the same time, few metres ahead, we bought a hair color packet. After that, we walked down to Nathan Road and went to the Hong Kong HLS the “mango’s place“, by the Humphreys, and ate two small mango puddings. Then, got back home.
