We woke up at 7.45, went to the Pacific Coffee, caught the MTR at Tsim Sha Tsui to Central. At the Central’s bus station we caught the bus line 90 to Ap Lei Chau. Our aim was to meet F., our friend. We visited the place and ate at Horizon Plaza shopping centre, in a Thai Restaurant at the 16th floor, then moved to the Oceanic Industrial Centre, 2 Lee Lok Street, by bus line 95 from South Horizons/Ap Lei Chau. We went to the 14th floor of the building but we did not find our friend. The place, very huge, was a little scary indeed, for the empty premises, and messy. Anyway, we met an italian guy from Basilicata who was importing in Hong Kong italian food. He was with another italian guy in the premise which had the use of an office, from where they established their business. He told us it was very difficult to do that job because of the very high level of competition. Too many suppliers, too many restaurants and, last but not least, no customs duty on wine, which is one of the main italian products to be imported. Therefore, in this branch what counts is if the country, we mean your country, is able in the economies of scale.

After that we caught the bus line 671 to Hong Kong, got off close to Central, walked for a while and reached the Tin Hau Temple. It was under renovation but, anyway, we could visit it. Then, we went to Central, got the escalator, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hong Kong, walked over the Peak Tram terminus, coming back from that point to go to the MTR stop in Central. Caught the MTR over there, back to Tsim Sha Tsui. We bought some fruits and cheese at the International supermarket in Peking Road, just opposite the Chungking Mansions.
